A Quiet Place: Day One, the highly anticipated prequel to the successful horror franchise A Quiet Place, has finally been announced. The film will be written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, who previously directed the critically acclaimed Pig. Lupita Nyong'o (Us, Black Panther), Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things), and Alex Wolff (Hereditary) have been cast in lead roles.
Day One is set in the early days of the invasion depicted in the original A Quiet Place film. It will follow the Abbott family as they struggle to survive in a world overrun by creatures that hunt by sound. The film is scheduled to release in 2024.
